Since the Company does predominantly build ships for the Government, it is subject to the Government's whims; if the Navy changes the schedule of when they want their ships built/overhauled (happens occasionally), then business takes a big hit causing layoffs, and removal of benefits and Merit increases.

Hard to work when your welding and someone snatches your leads n run. Or they steal your bolts or they decide their taking their machine back. Or you have a machine that's no good. Its too much confusion. Not proper leadership. Have to teach yourself what to do and hang in there.
