Pros

This company is a family operation with a rich history and culture. Hands-on, multi-generational family ownership thrives in a quick paced "get it done" atmosphere. Incredible, consistent growth and stability with endless potential for challenge and opportunity for those willing and capable of seizing it. Though we are not saving lives, we take every task as seriously as if life depends on it. This is great for customers; but can be tough on employees. However, your experience here forces you to raise the bar or fail. My personal achievement gained from being a part of this organization has positioned me for a lifetime of success.

Cons

You do not walk in the door and get treated like a King or Queen. Candidates expecting such entitlement in their employment should keep looking. This is an environment where you prove your capabilities and contributions and then seek compensation.

Pros

Honestly it is really hard to think of many pro's, but it is nice that the dress code is casual, and most of the employees are very nice and friendly.

Cons

Foreign employees have to pay for their own visa. New employees are required to sign a non compete agreement with a list of 22 companies that you cannot work for within a year of ending your employment at Haddad, which makes it very difficult to find another job in the industry Salary is low. Health insurance is very expensive, $300/ month for a single person. Although we don't get paid over time we work an average of 55-60 hours a week. I feel very unappreciated and discouraged every day. I would not recommend working here to anybody.

Pros

I rose from an entry level position up to VP level. At every juncture, I was measured for my abilities and past performance and then offered the next step. I wasn't offered the next step before I could handle it. They watched and nurtured my progress and are intimately involved in all details. Management never afraid to get involved. But willing to set parameters and let you run with it.

Cons

Moving up can mean long hours. Must be dedicated and accessible for growth to senior ranks. Like other places, there are no shortcuts to success.
