Pros

For right out of college employees, there is no better place to learn whether you're in sales or design. Nearly all of upper management at my level were grown from within the company. That says a lot about the growth opportunity. Don't believe the other posts that say there is a limit, but do believe what they say about working you hard. It is not easy, and it's not for everyone, but if you're serious about work and your career, the owners will recognize you and your efforts and you will rise quickly. With regards to the owners, they are a great family to work for. They are very respectful toward their employees, and they have a great reputation in the industry. One last point, the brands we work with are among the best in the world. Sure it will look great on a resume to work for Haddad Brands given the brands it represents, but I wouldn't use this company as a stepping stone. If you're here, do your best to stay here because this is where you want to be for kids apparel.

Cons

Fast, demanding, and competitive work environment. When I say competitive, I don't mean coworkers are not there to help. In fact, most of them are great at working as a team. What I mean by competitive is that to really advance you need to make yourself stand out from the rest. Salary may be lower for younger employees new to the industry compared to other companies, but again, I think once you prove yourself they are more then willing to discuss an increase.

Pros

There is no better place to learn and professionally grow than here. An excellent brand portfolio to work with...great for a resume Plenty of opportunity for advancement. Nearly everyone at the senior level has been promoted from within. But be warned, to get ahead you definitely have to do what you can to stand out and prove yourself to upper management through dedication and hard work. It's worth the effort, because hard work gets recognized. Owners are very engaged and approachable.

Cons

Long hours heavy workloads A bit of a learning curve so tough for new employees to get up and running quickly. No formal training either, but that shouldn't bother those that are able to hit the ground running.
