Pros

The creative staff is an assembly of amazing and diverse employees from around the world who bring expertise in design, editorial, and innovation. They are an inspiring group of visionaries and entrepreneurs who find solutions by applying their keen empathy to their remarkable skill set.

Cons

The creative staff has been significantly reduced due to numerous layoffs. Hallmark's purse-strings are tightly controlled by a marketing team that holds the creative department in contempt, holding onto a belief that the company can thrive with the right amount of spreadsheets. Hallmark's HR department is populated with corporate type A's who shuffle people about and out with impunity, creating an environment of fear and anxiety. The sales force are an old-school gathering of dimwits whose sales techniques are outdated and embarrassing. Executive leadership of the company lacks vision, optimism, and common sense.

Pros

Get to work with Greeting Cards. How can you have a bad day working with greeting cards?

Cons

Territory Mgr of 15 Merchandisers and 41 stores and you are limited to 20 hrs per wk. Not informed during hiring process or in any written or verbal communication that you are limited to 1400 hrs per yr - period. Training provided by previous employee that has been trying to retire for over a yr and consists of showing you where greeting cards are located in each store. Managers/Company breeds unhappy employees, backstabbing peers, deniable accountability, and yelling is the only form of communication. Any information that affects you, your income, your job and your life is held over your head as some big mystery that is controlled by the great and powerful OZ.
