Pros
Some of the employees there are good hearted, salt of the earth people. Great benefits and health plans.
Cons
Employees were not trained well and often time incompetent. Constant new management and buyouts from Hartford Healthcare lead to a cycle of different cultures and tired employee. Good employees are not valued or promoted so they leave... constantly training new people. Very poor interview process looking at the employees who are hired. Employees live in fear of programs closing or violent clients. Since there is so much emphasis on the bottom line adolescents are often accepted when they do not meet what the program dictates. The employees are not trained to handle the clients that are accepted. Over and over again staff would go to upper management about concerns and they would be belittled and told that nothing was wrong.
