Pros

The coworkers are amazing and the job itself is not bad at all.

Cons

Upper management gives you tasks but then punishes you for doing them. They want you to do two jobs at once but compensate you for one. If you get a complaint because they've pulled you off your actual job to do another one, they hold you accountable. They do not value employees and create a toxic work environment. They are not open to new ideas. Upper management is aware of the issue (TK, EZ, etc) and they are doing nothing to fix morale. The focus is all on the numbers, not on helping the employees. It is extremely stressful working here.

Pros

You leave your work at work, generous PTO, fair wage if you are able to negotiate for it.

Cons

Highly negative work environment. Lack of innovation. Sales will sell product impossible to deliver. Managers will report other department's employees for minor inconsequential activities such as talking to coworkers. Lack of clear focus of company. Head of call center regularly seen screaming at other heads of departments in her office.

Pros

I love to work from home. I enjoy my teammates and that we have a group chat to help each other through tough calls. I enjoy helping members who call in and hearing the genuine appreciation for my assistance in their voice.

Cons

Training was very scattered and all over the place. They had everyone from triage to benefits to claims to nurses all in the same training class which made it very confusing to understand what my job was when exiting training. Many of the supervisors are extremely corporate and do not care about you personally they only care about the numbers and what QA thinks about you. High stress job especially during open enrollment.

Health Advocate Response

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to provide this detailed feedback with suggestions. I am happy that your experience with your team and the work has been great. I am sorry that your experience with training was not as great as you had hoped. Health Advocate is constantly growing and as such, we are always hiring. With our demand for staffing, we can't always wait to have a full class of nurses, or benefits associates to run a solo training. The training we provide is general to start and gets more specific to your position as it progresses. I will pass your feedback on to see if there are gaps we can address to better prepare you for the floor. When it comes to promotions, our process is in depth and thorough - we have had great success with our internal growth. If you have more specific feedback, please email me directly to discuss. Thank you, Howard Mintzer, Director, HR Business Partnership
