Not the worst but not the best

Pros

Some really nice co-workers. Relaxed where jeans are ok most of the time. Made some great friends here. It's a job that pays my bills.

Cons

Too much playing favorites all around the company. Really unprofessional sales supervisors and leaders. Bad and sketchy office park with no food options or anything else around. Too much work on some people and not others. Supervisor and manager turn over is high. Not a lot of opportunity if you aren't a favorite.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to have you be a part of HPOne. It’s unfortunate to hear your opinion about HPOne’s supervisors. As we continue to grow we continue to implement new ideas and changes to be able to provide a professional environment. It’s always a work in progress and we really take feedback as yours very seriously in hopes to be able to create the ideal environment for all of our employees.

An amazing opportunity

Pros

-The people who run the company are great people, Pres, VP, they try to do whats best for the agents and keep them happy -Leads are provided and they are good -Pay is competitive, obviously less than being independent but you don't pay for leads, they take care of appointments, licensing, etc. -Management buys lunch frequently, especially during AEP

Cons

-Some people naturally do well at this type of job and some don't. Some sort of sales experience helps but you're selling insurance over the phone to a specific group of people and there are good salesmen that just don't do well in this situation. I don't really see it as a con but as you can see from the bad reviews, these people were the ones that didn't do well. It's a sales job, and that means 80/20, 80% will fail and 20% will do good. You never know until you take a chance. -Training could be improved

Thank you for the positive feedback. I do agree that our leadership team consistently and earnestly does what is best for the agents and the company as a whole. As far as your comment regarding training, we are in the process of adding to the curriculum, and have also added staff to the training team. The feedback from these changes has been extremely positive, and we are continuously working to improve, not only in training but across the organization.

Pros

Inside sales job with the promise of making a lot of money during AEP.

Cons

Company is not sure what it wants to be when it grows up. Has a lot of growing pains. Promises new leads on opening day of AEP and there's nothing. Promised at the interview that they were the number 1 lead source so why are they buying leads? Carrier contract should've be signed and solid before AEP. It happens the same time every year. A lot of cold calling, Was promised that there would be people waiting on inbound but it is skewed to certain veteran agents. Two weeks into AEP and already laying off agents. It's a commission against the draw meaning that you could owe the company thousands of dollars before you hit your quota and bonus. Prediction that 70 of the brokerage agents will be laid off in December after AEP is over.

Hello – we do have a seasonal business, so our staffing levels vary based upon the business. As we continue to grow the business and gain more clients, we hope to retain more of the talent that we recruit. Thank you for your feedback!
