Pros

Salary is above average, remote position

Cons

Horrible leadership, laid off 33 clinicians with no regard for seniority. Then as other gave noticed asked some laid off employees to stay. 1.5 months later position listed for same job title. Extremely unstable department with poor leadership at every level. Stay far, far away from this team.

Thank you for sharing your review. We value our employees’ feedback. Unfortunately, we did have to make some changes to one of our Clinical teams largely to comply with changing regulatory requirements. Through advance communication and careful planning, most of the impacted employees were offered alternative roles and remain actively employed at Healthfirst. This decision was made with careful consideration, and we strive to keep these types of difficult changes to a minimum. Please reach out to your HR Business Partner if you would like to discuss your specific concerns. Again, thank you for sharing your feedback.

Pros

Quarterly incentives are good if you perform well. You do get all your PTO for the year up front but need to manage it. Benefits are great. Decent pay but could be better, especially in this economy.

Cons

Micromanaging, lack of leadership support, no real opportunities to grow. You get caching for every and anything which is extremely demoralizing. There is an expectation of perfection which is unrealistic. No matter how well you perform through the year if you get a write up at all, you will not get a raise. You can be an excellent employee with high quarterly bonuses, and it will not make a difference. QA is horrendous. You can have the best call but if you miss one word of the required verbiage, you will fail. 98 is the passing score for QA. Make sure to start your documentation on the call r else you will lose points even if you are trying to focus on the member's concern. It is all about numbers for this company. It is quantity over quality. Training is an unorganized joke and not nearly long enough to learn all the lines of business that are needed.
