Excellent team environment at Heart + Paw. I've been in the veterinary industry for many years and worked for other large corporations and consolidators and those companies are not open to new ideas. Heart + Paw is the complete opposite you can bring new ideas and strategies to try things and they are very open to using new tools to get the job done. There is a ton of flexibility with DVM scheduling and figuring out what works best to support support center teams. Compensation is higher than other consolidators/corporate entities. Benefits are strong including health coverage. Really excited to see where this young company is headed!!

Cons

There aren't any cons. The only thing I could even think of would be adding Juneteenth as a paid holiday for employees and having a paid day for birthdays or bump floaters up to 5 to accommodate these holidays

Pros

- great health plan for up to 2 pets - some freedom of scheduling - chances to be creative - communication with wonderful clients

Cons

- catty, competitive environment - your popularity determines if you move up/get cross trained - training scheduled with people who don't want to train you - easily pulled into office for things others say you do (but you didn't)
