Going downhill fast

Pros

Great coworkers, wonderful veterinary care

Cons

Not what it used to be. Micromanagement at every level. Preach transparency but reaching out to higher-ups is met with a "why are you bothering me" response. More concerned with optics and appearing PC than actually taking care of their people or supporting DEI initiatives. If you're not a veterinarian you're treated like an absolute idiot. No room for growth or advancement.

Not worth the headache

Pros

Flexible schedule. Decent pay. Pet care.

Cons

Increasingly focused on profit over care. Chronically understaffed. All the bad kind of -isms wrapped up in one ugly "family." Healthcare offered is too expensive. They clearly aim to hire and promote those that are unqualified and ill-equipped because they're easily moldable to do the bidding of the higher ups and cost less. They're not forthcoming to clients about what is really being done with their pets and by whom. Sub par veterinarians. The better ones leave.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that offering an unparalleled level of service to our pets and pet parents can sometimes result in a stressful work environment. Our priority is to ensure that our team members have the support to help them through those circumstances. It is disappointing to learn that your experience fell short of your expectations. Thank you for your dedication to pet care and we wish you all the best.
