Pros

the clients very are nice

Cons

Management only cares about their billable hours, not whether or not clients are taken care of or informed when someone can't be sent out or if their {clients] hours have been reduced. The payroll is constantly screwed up with empty promises of making it right. Oh, and good luck getting the sign-on and 90 day bonus they say you will get when hiring you.

If you’re a woman, don’t work here.

Pros

The hours are the best part of the job.

Cons

Please ladies run away from here. There is no appreciation for women here and there are no opportunities unless you’re a white male... that’s with all honesty. People who work hard but are seen as disposable. Just had merit “raises” , it is a joke and a slap in the face to employees. Some employees were given .30 raises ! They call it “unity” but there is no unity. So again, women please run far away from here, you will be paid less than a man who has no degree but yet you have one. You will be expected to set goals for yourself for the new year and this will determine your merit raise for the next year. What goals exactly ? It is setting us up for failure. A sexist company that gives little benefits and will never give a damn about you.

Thank you so much for your review, it is always fantastic to hear such great feedback about working with our clients. Thank you for helping them continue to live independently in their communities. Help at home works hard to meet or exceed industry standards for compensation and it is something that is reviewed regularly but also depends on Medicaid reimbursement rates. In areas where our wages aren’t as high as we would like, we try to offer additional benefits like greater flexibility or paid time off. We appreciate your comment and if you have any additional feedback please email us at info@helpathome.com.
