Flexible work schedule is pretty good, Some very great engineers to mentor you here. Decent opportunity for growth in the company/industry.

Cons

Poor Bonus, Poor scheduling internally, routinely overloads your schedule and makes you turn down work, unrealistic deadlines, then the couple of finger pointing middle management, makes the design process a headache at times.

We take pride in offering flexible schedules, which enable employees to “flex” hours worked to counterbalance periodic upticks in workload. We strive to align our pay and benefits with the industry as well as the employee’s experience and qualifications. Bonuses aren’t guaranteed, however, this year we had a fully funded bonus pool. Decent culture with good emphasis on team building

Cons

Get ready to play games - HEI leaders are notorious for playing favorites mixed with high school drama and nepotism. I had little faith in the management and the direction the company was headed. I attribute most of their success to blind luck, and wouldn't want to work there when the giant begins to fall, which is inevitable. Recent leadership transitions have not been beneficial for the ethics of the company.

Ideal company to work for if young and fresh out of college to gain some experience and knowledge.

Cons

Too many to list. Take note of this one though. Your compensation will not reflect the amount of work they assign you. You won't notice this right away either since their fun culture activities (team events, beer 30s, etc) serve as a distraction from all the projects you'll be taking on. However you will notice eventually the same mid to upper management people attending event after event posting about it on social media while you're up to your neck in work and wondering two things 1) how do the same people have time for this while I'm buried? 2) what else could I have possibly done to receive a more fair compensation during my performance review?
