Pros

With Herc, if you are willing to put in the time and work, they are willing to help you reach your career goals. Great vacation time, Senior Management transparency, family-like atmosphere.

Cons

With Herc recently becoming an independent company away from The Hertz Corporation, there is still a lot of change in the company. Lack of formal training.

Pros

Some of the employees are nice, but that's only some.

Cons

There are literally too many to count: you will feel ostracized, as each department plays favorites, you will be expected to do more work than what you are paid for, the job description will be completely different than what you actually do, lots of layoffs, lots of turnover, and the wages are absolutely disgusting.

Pros

The culture is great and the people are hard working and driven. Everyone wants to get the company fully operational and off the ground, and it's going to take a collaborative effort to do it. Great thing is, everyone is on board. Employees have the opportunity to build a legacy in each role. It's an amazing time to be in sales, management, recruiting or anything in the field at Herc Rentals.

Cons

We have strong competition, and they aren't going away. But....what company doesn't have competition? There is a massive opportunity to get better and start beating the competition.
