Pros

The benefits are OK. Nothing spectacular but average to slightly above average - vacation time is good. Yearly bonus of a couple hundred bucks. There's a decent "community" among employees.

Cons

Very low pay compared to same job in other industries. The whole private for profit industry is shady. Stressful work when dealing with regulatory and compliance issues with short deadlines.
