Pros

Work from home. Generally motivating company culture

Cons

It’s a grind. They incentivize you to sell products that don’t work very well while they take a big percentage off the top. The you have to create this facade that the products are actually working for the customers. It’s mostly BS. Products can sometimes be good but really only if the sales rep is constantly working to make them better. Back office didn’t do much other than set it and forget it which is awful. You end up having to micromanage your clients accounts essentially doing what should be 2 jobs at once. As far as commission, they would fluctuate your it based on your previous 3 month average. Want to take vacation? Get prepared to be knocked down in the commission tier and make less money. The most successful sales people are ones that either are ignorant to how bad a lot of their products are, or simply don’t care and are willing to play the game. Solid job for a young kid out of college first starting out to get a taste of corporate sales culture but overall it’s not good.

Thank you for your feedback. We agree that working from home is a big perk of working at Hibu! In most sales roles, what you put in is what you get out. We are proud to offer a competitive commission structure that rewards employees for their work. All employees are equipped with clear expectations and are provided an outline of their compensation structure. If you would like to discuss your feedback further, please give us a call at 855-447-4428.

Horrible Company

Pros

No office to go into and you have the flexibility to make your own schedule

Cons

Horrible company. They train you to sell crap essentially. They have a vigorous training program and get you all excited for what you are going to sell, then you realize you are selling such low quality products and it is a scam. You wind up having to sell, edit websites, edit ads, etc. because the development team is outsourced somewhere and incompetent. Sales is hard enough, how do they expect you to sell something that you don’t believe in. I felt guilty once I realized how crappy the products were. For example, I sold to a chiropractor and he was paying a lot each month (3-4k), and when our website team built him his website they spelt the word “massage” wrong all over the site. This wasn’t just a one off, there were common mistakes like this all of the time. Facebook ads were horrible. It’s a burn and churn company and they favor quantity over quality. My advice, if you decide to give Hibu a try, do not sell to your family or friends initially until you see the caliber of their products yourself and you can then decide for yourself.

Pros

Good team, nice people, great training, good continuing learning.

Cons

A rolling 3 concept $2400 a month in sales and 2 new sales a month/ 6 in a rolling 3 to get paid the highest pay. If you don’t have the 6 you get paid 50% commission. The customers sign 6 month contracts and if they cancel month 7 they come back and take 6 months back from you that was paid in commission. It’s called a charge back. Act like high commission but if client cancels they take your commission back.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We agree the people, training, and support are some of the many amazing things about working here at Hibu. As with any sales opportunity, you get out of the position what you put in and that is especially true here at Hibu were we have uncapped commissions. If you are struggling to hit the 2 sales/month objective we would encourage you to discuss with your RVP and/or Sales Training. We are here to support you any way we can, feel free to contact us at 855-447-4428.
