Pros

Some team members are supportive on an individual level, and the role itself has the potential to be rewarding depending on leadership changes.

Cons

Unfortunately, the overall work environment is extremely toxic and unprofessional. There is a strong presence of cliques, which creates division and makes it difficult to feel included or supported unless you are part of the “inner circle.” Gossiping is constant and often involves management, which contributes to a culture of distrust and discomfort. HR is not a reliable or supportive resource. Concerns that are brought forward are not handled appropriately, and there is little to no confidentiality or resolution. In some cases, inappropriate behavior is overlooked entirely. There is a serious lack of structure and operational organization. Expectations are unclear, processes are inconsistent, and leadership does not provide proper guidance or accountability. This leads to confusion, frustration, and inefficiency on a daily basis. Respect in the workplace is lacking. Professional boundaries are not maintained, and management often contributes to the unprofessional culture rather than correcting it. Overall, morale is very low, and the environment makes it difficult to grow or feel valued as an employee.

Pros

Pay was decent and as a GM, there were a lot of benefits that came with the role.

Cons

When a property is struggling, they are unable to send any outside support even when factoring in regional roles. There was always someone in a worse position. Additionally, they promoted an individual to become regional with no notice or communication.
