      Pros

      There aren’t many pro’s to this company. Its benefits are expensive, make sure you inquire about them at the beginning of your interview process. There literally nothing special about this organization relative to other average companies out there. I’d say stay away based on the toxic culture.

      Cons

      This is a run away, dont walk kind of company. Google their prior CEO Pete Sam and how short his tenure was, and that should be all you need to know about how this org is ran. It’s a revolving door for a lot of departments and a lot of toxic leadership. I’d share my title and position but im still here…

      Pros

      My time at Highgate has been incredibly refreshing. The Highgate community feels warm and welcoming, and there’s a true sense of belonging that I’m grateful to now contribute to at The Elser Hotel. It’s also a highly competitive company, and I really value that we don’t just focus on recruiting talent, but on creating real opportunities for growth and development that help our team thrive and stay with us.

      Cons

      Consideration for PTO accrual not to be strictly based on a 40-hour work week, as hourly associates aren’t always able to control reaching those hours due to occupancy and forecasting. This can impact their ability to earn time off through no fault of their own. I also believe making vacation time available after the first six months would feel more aligned with their initial trial period and be greatly valued by the team.
