Pros

Nice furniture is about all the positive I can give this place.

Cons

Things are get worse and worse for anyone in this place as the days go by. People just come in because they haven't found another job. Within two weeks of being here people start looking to get out. There is immense turnover here. It is miserable to be here. Everyone watches everything you do.

Pros

I very much appreciate the opportunity that HomeServe has provided to me. There is a lot of growth opportunity as evident through several of the leadership team members beginning their career as agents. It's very fast paced enviornment and different from much larger corporations that can often take years to faciliate change due to bureacucracy. Feedback is encouraged and I've expereienced change being implemented due to providing feedback. I firmly believe that this is not only one of the best employers in the area, but a company that is only beginning to make a positive impact for the customers it services.

Cons

There is a need to improve the systems and technology for stability and growth

Overly stressful place to work

Pros

Unique products and services with a global reach. Potential for very good profit margins.

Cons

Poor employee morale, and terrible work-life balance. Too much disrespect from a couple key execs. I saw people get laid-off, only several months after being hired. The lay-offs were not due to performance. The lay-offs were due to eliminated positions, office closures, etc. There is no cross-functional communication, and you are crucified for even trying to involve other key stakeholders on projects. The reason is that the one person pushing the project wants it to get done, and he/she may be in a position of power. He/she isn't concerned about other fucntional areas, business impacts, value, etc.
