Ms. Deb.....really?

Pros

Nothing right now, huge disappointment

Cons

What a bunch of crap......once again, getting rid of someone that has given their heart and soul to the company and is beloved by everyone. No one believes the “resigned” e-mail. Especially when the candy stealer told people months ago he was getting rid of her when the new building was opened.

When someone whose kindness, Southern charm and impact voluntarily leaves us, it’s understandably a collective disappointment. Ms. Deb was a bright spot for so many, and wherever her journey leads her, we know she'll continue to be that bright spot for those around her. Hers are big shoes to fill, and it’s not something we’ll take lightly as we work to bring someone new into the HomeServe Chattanooga family.

Pros

HomeServe has a great business model, and there are some real superstar employees in the company. There's never a dull moment.

Cons

The level of incompetence is extremely high and prevalent as are the accompanying overly aggressive and unreasonable attitudes of many of the key players. Also, there are many clueless underlings that are merely sucking up money and subsequently many of the younger employees leave in order to build a better resume elsewhere. Workload is incredibly unbalanced with certain persons suffering frequent physical and mental problems brought on by stress. Very aggressive deadlines without proper balancing of priorities. "CYA" mentality is a stronger driver than desire for successful teamwork with higher quality of work.

Pros

None that are worth the pay

Cons

It’s impossible to trust anyone who allows their employees to constantly feel this way. Our entire department does the job of 2-4 employees yet we’re compensated below the median of our range. If we do the job of multiple employees pay us a deserving salary. This company isn’t worth the stress and the pay. We’ll continue to see good people leave

To be honest, this isn’t the type of feedback we like to see. And that’s for a number of reasons. The reason that’s paramount to all others is you’re feeling overworked, overwhelmed and underappreciated. That all runs counter to who we aim to be as a company. If you haven’t talked to people on your team about these issues, we certainly encourage you to do that. If that person isn’t responsive, please consider raising your concerns to others who may be at higher levels in the department. It’s no secret that we’re in a period of growth and change, which comes with a myriad of things. None of those things should have this severe an impact on your engagement and job satisfaction. You’re on a great team; it’s the best in our industry. We can attribute that to you and the people on the team. We’re thankful to have all of you on board.
