Pros

Pay, benefits, overtime (if you enjoy it).

Cons

Management/HR does not care about their employees anymore. They'd rather perpetuate a toxic work environment and ignore numerous cries for help from an employee being overworked and targeted/bullied by a manager and employee working together. This manager used their power and position to take one side and favor an employee who pushes their job duties onto others, falls asleep during work hours, sits idle on overtime, and was also accused of theft. This manager also works 100% remotely from multiple states away and has no idea what goes on in the department. Instead of investigating, management decided to take this employee's word and compared overtime hours between two employees that share the same responsibilities to determine who 'works' more. This resulted in the employee who actually works more with less abused overtime hours having more work piled onto them unfairly. The amount of mental anguish I endured over 2-3 years caused me to become so filled with hate and sadness, that I sincerely hope this place never recovers from the loss of a valuable employee who actually cared about their job.

Pros

I feel that the company's senior leadership really tries to engage employees and implement policies and guidelines to support them. They have been more transparent around the thinking that goes into those policies. The work can be interesting and most people are great to work with. There are definitely worse companies out there.

Cons

Unfortunately senior leadership's efforts are thwarted by VPs and Senior Directors who don't possess the necessary skills to run their departments. We'd be in trouble if I had to rely on my director for anything. There is also long standing favoritism around which departments get to hire and promote.
