In a Transition

Pros

Large, influential player in the private home care industry. Small enough that you can "move up quickly" if you prove yourself / your role is in an org with spotlight at that time. Ability to work on a really interesting challenge in home care - centralizing care (depending on your role).

Cons

Honor has been through 3-4 restructuring / layoffs during the year August 2022 - August 2023. The strategy is consistently changing which can easily affect your role's duties, prominence, etc. quickly.

Great entry level role

Pros

Great way to get your feet wet in the HR industry. Very small and understaffed, but there is room to learn A LOT in a short span of time. Everyone is kind for the most part. Stick with the doers. Nice PTO

Cons

Favoritism- only selected few are allowed to suggest improvement ideas, move up, or speak to the director. Somewhat of a high-school feel--management can feel cliquish and will allow others to take credit for your work Not enough representation from different groups Will be overwhelmed with work when 4 out of 5 staff members will be out for a week Low pay
