Pros

Great way to get your feet wet in the HR industry. Very small and understaffed, but there is room to learn A LOT in a short span of time. Everyone is kind for the most part. Stick with the doers. Nice PTO

Cons

Favoritism- only selected few are allowed to suggest improvement ideas, move up, or speak to the director. Somewhat of a high-school feel--management can feel cliquish and will allow others to take credit for your work Not enough representation from different groups Will be overwhelmed with work when 4 out of 5 staff members will be out for a week Low pay

Thank you for your review of Honor and your efforts to contribute to our purpose of Expanding the world's capacity to care. Striking work/life balance is a constant challenge, for individuals and companies, alike. And the truth is, there will be occasions when we’re putting in extra hours to meet an important deadline or cover a staffing shortage. But it shouldn’t always be like that. To that end, we’ve been hiring more people and implementing managerial training to help leaders lead in a way that better integrates their teams’ personal time. And now that we’re a distributed workforce, we have core hours so that collaboration can happen across time zones within everyone’s regular work day. We have also always offered paid time off to all of our employees. We can’t expect our employees to give us their best if they don’t have the time they need to rest and recharge. So getting the work/life balance right is important to us as a company and to our fellow employees.
