Pros

They'll bring on board making you feel hopeful about your future in their company.

Cons

Sad truth, is you'll see reality when you start noticing they do not keep their promises. If you need to go to school they will not fit your work hours around you. They always forget that you as a caregiver are a contractor, you don't work for them. In reality they work for you, because without your work they just wouldn't have a job, now would they? They charge the client 28 dollars an hour and only give you pocket change plus all they deduct out if your weekly pay check. Quit this job and get a regular one. These people will try to take advantage of you and it's not worth your gas money having different assignments from house to house town to town. They may have their master's degrees but your the one doing the job they get paid for, and they're just giving you the peanuts. You'll earn more by going into business for yourself, or having another job.

Pros

Free lunch, down to earth coworkers.

Cons

- Poor decision making and waves of layoffs - Gives employees false hope when it comes to career growth - Expected to work overtime and remain available - Roles are eliminated and current roles are expected to take on a lot more responsibility without a pay raise. - Company became too money-driven and strayed away from their purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and thoughts about your experience at Honor. Over the past year, Honor has significantly re-organized its care support team based on feedback from Care Pros and clients on how best to support them. Anytime we make decisions to eliminate or change roles, we do our best to be transparent and communicate these decisions to the team with empathy. Also, we know our environment can be challenging at times - we are dealing with difficult situations on a daily basis - but we also encourage all managers to respect boundaries and work-life balance. Please chat with your leadership team or your HR partner to discuss your feedback in areas where you feel like we could be doing more.

Thank you for sharing about your experience at Honor, and we’re happy to hear that you connected well with your coworkers and enjoyed the fast-paced startup environment. As a growing startup, we have had to continually evolve and change to best support all who we care for - our clients, our Care Pros, our partners, and our internal team. Sometimes this means that employees leave because the startup environment is not a good fit for them at that time in their lives. Sometimes it means that as our organizational structure evolves, it leads to difficult decisions about changing or eliminating roles. Our goal is to foster a mission-driven culture where our employees, Care Pros, and clients feel valued and supported.
