Pros

1. Some coworkers are genuinely nice people and make the environment bearable. 2. You can learn a lot about what NOT to do in business

Cons

1. Low Pay: Compensation is well below industry standards, and raises are almost nonexistent. 2. Inexperienced Management: Managers are often hired without any actual management experience. It’s clear promotions are based on favoritism rather than merit or skill. 3. C-Suite Cronyism: The executive team is essentially a white boys' club, filled with friends who just hire one another. Employees suffer because they weren’t hired for their leadership. 4. Lack of Diversity Commitment: It’s known that diversity isn’t a priority for the company. This attitude trickles down and creates an unsafe, exclusionary culture. 5. Bullying Leadership Style: Management thrives on intimidation and bullying rather than providing constructive guidance or support. 6. Profit-Driven at All Costs: The company cares about one thing only: making money. Employees and their well-being are seen as expendable in pursuit of this goal.

Pros

Work remote..they will provide the equipment.

Cons

Management has lost touch with reality. Many managers and senior leaders were promoted because they were there, not because they are qualified. One leader is cocky arrogant and like to hear himself talk and be demeaning. Another leader is a skateboarding frat boy. Some leaders are just rude, some are bullies, and others are just clueless. The company has taken so much investment debt, bought other companies, and hired way too many people. They can't support the sales team and most all of the top performers have left. The leaders that were actually intelligent, caring, and qualified have also left. If you want to work for a managers who are inept, rude, and have the sales skills of my left foot this is the place for you. The company claims "unlimited PTO" but won't actually let you take time off for anything even a doctor's appointment....due to operational need. They apparently have a crystal ball that tells them how busy they will be in 6 months. The crystal ball doesn't work though as many of us sat around for hours a day waiting for a lead to talk to. Pipeline already worked, Old leads are gone because others grabbed them already. Ohh and get ready to be told a minimum number of calls must be made before you can finish your shift. Doesn't matter how many sales, demos, or how much talk time you have... Apparently calls are their priority not sales. If you like random sales promotions, specials, deals, discounts that change by the minute and are overly confusing to know who qualifies for what...then here ya go. It was a great place when there were like 100 employees, but then they thought they were a multi-billion dollar company and bragged about it...and hired hired hired and acted as if they were some giant company. Except they didn't have the demand, customers, or product offerings to be as big as their egos were. Shall I go on?

It doesn't appear to be a good match for you at HCP; we hope that you found that fit somewhere else on your next stop in your career. Thank you for the feedback.

Pros

Only pro is you get to work 100% remote but this SALES ORG SUCKS avoid at all costs

Cons

This is the worst job I’ve ever had. Get ready to get over worked - there are so many awful things I could say about this place but I will just leave it at that. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS - this AE job is worse than any SDR job I’ve ever had

Something is amiss here. I look at the previous Account Executive review and the perspective is 180 degrees away from your own; polar opposite in that that AE thinks Housecall Pro is "Great Place to Work... innovative... people who genuinely care about your success... great pay." Typically this is the response we get from our sales team so perhaps you have a bad match up of your passion, skills and the business need? If there is anything that we can do specifically to support you or get you on a better track, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Thank you for the feedback.
