Flexible and Autonomous

Pros

Work-life balance is encouraged, supported, and easy at Humana. The autonomy and freedom is like no other company.

Cons

(At least in my area) This is not a structured, clear, boxed in atmosphere. It may not suit everyone. Those who adapt quickly to change, can find their own opportunities for projects/work, and have solid networking skills will thrive!

Pros

Compensation, remote work, parental leave, 401K match

Cons

Right now Humana is on the rocks a bit and shareholders have really taken a bite out of employees share of the business profits. Lots of workforce reductions that aren’t really tied to business need has really made Humana a company with an always on culture. Supposedly we are getting new benefit packages introduced this summer and I doubt it’s going to go in employees favor as they’ve been very profit focused over the last 3 years. Used to be a great place to work now it’s just a good place to work.
