Pros
Thankfully salaried employees can work from home The employees who aren’t management pets are nice people
Cons
A female manager from the Dublin location makes work awful since she got passed over for promotion. She talks badly about employees openly & on calls. She even talks poorly about her own staff behind their backs to other non-managers. She has promised multiple employees promotions & never came through so she could hire her friend. You can’t go to HR because that employee is her friend. She constantly belittles people in front of others. If she wants you gone she makes your life miserable. A former supervisor tried to warn us before she quit a few years back. This manager says things like “I’m allowed because I’m a manager” in a childish way. She does not know how to lead & several people have lost respect for her as well as the male HR employee in Dublin. Aside from the problem manager we haven’t received raises in 2 years. We all have had significant increases in responsibilities without additional compensation. Everyone has the same job title to keep our pay lower. The merge for Smiths employees to ICU is a nightmare. Since August it’s chaos. We have been shorted a weeks pay, no one knows what’s going on, there are no leaders & no one listens to our feedback. Everyone is on edge about losing their jobs, there is no room for advancement, & there is not a single thank you to employees. We are segregated from upper management & have no idea what is going on.
