Pros

Flexible schedule (good job for students) Good benefits (medical, dental, PTO, 401k, bonuses, etc)

Cons

Management and HR are not empathetic. They don't hire enough people and we are constantly understaffed. GM seems to be all about money and not about employee happiness/retention.

Pros

Most promotions are within. No degree required to move up and far with them. Competitive benefits. Flexible schedule and time off add up quickly.

Cons

Upper managements smile at you, then ask your boss to get ride of you. Always under staff. Very poor customer service. During my time there friendship is huge. A lot of outing, weekend nights drinking between management and coworkers. Big happy family. Friends promote friends. Intimate relations between managers and employees are permitted. Since they are always under staff with heavy work loads, it makes it hard to hold anyone accountable. Although a degree may not be needed to move up. Friendship is a must or you don't get the position. Non stop work in the warehouse until your back break.

Pros

Discount on IKEA merchandise, a lot of room for growth, brand-new beautiful callcenter, a chance to travel to headquarters in Sweden.

Cons

High school like atmosphere, some of the managers are very unprofessional. A couple of the managers gossip and talked about some of their peers right in front of us. A lot of people flirting and sleeping with each other. Just very high school/college like. The most important thing was we didn't have all the tools we needed to help the customer, and sometimes the customer could be on hold for like an hour or more. But I've heard that they are working on all of that so great!
