Genuinely focused on the mission and fun culture!

Pros

Everyone here (including and especially C-level) is very focused on the mission of making health care better quality and easier for patients. The office culture is so fun - we have frequent social events, celebrate our wins together, and of course have lots of good snacks. Most people are very nice and it's pleasant to come into work every day. Everyone gets to set their own goals and is given support to achieve them - which is awesome. I've never felt like my work is so personally tied to a company's success and I love it.

Cons

We don't have enough engineers so we aren't able to move as quickly or accomplish as much as we'd like. There's no 401k match! I don't want to stay here too long because I need to start saving more. Also no bonuses.

* WLB is OK * WFH 1 day a week (only if you perform) * OKish code quality

Cons

* Politics * Engineering managers care only about themselves * No annual salary raise or bonus * No lunch, snacks are "healthy", no Coke * HR didn't care about reported issues

Pros

They do offer amazing benefits and probably one of the best places I have worked at that care for their employees well being...but that doesn't pay my bills. Very flexible with time off.

Cons

With the incredible growth this company has gained over the past year I feel like they just hired and promoted up not so qualified employees. Seniority is greatly rewarded with promotions but if you were hired after the mass of hiring you can forget about the so told easy to move up. There isn't enough opportunities now for personal development despite your prior work experience and education. RS roles to the care team are too facilitated, greatly unappreciated, and deserve better pay for the amount of work load they have in comparison to other roles.

I was glad to read that you appreciate the many perks Grand Rounds has to offer, but disappointed that you feel we overemphasize seniority. While seniority in terms of tenure plays a role in helping to master the elements that are important to advancement at Grand Rounds -- putting patients first, delivering high quality and timely results, collaborating well with team members, demonstrating competencies, etc. -- it's not an explicit consideration when considering opportunities for team members. I'd love to hear from you ideas you have on how we can better communicate a clear understanding of promotion rationale. Let me know if you'd like to grab some time together. --Danielle Snow, SVP Patient Care
