Department management is a joke; employer has zero respect for its employees. High turnover rates. Employer does not understand; but refuses to truly hear what employees have to say. Other departments may be better but be fair warned about department you are interviewing for. HR is impossible to deal with. No real people just phone numbers to route you back to e-mails that are never resolved.

-Administration does not value staff in the slightest -Aims to hire 40% new grad RNs and staff low numbers to boost productivity- no value for experience or a safe, supportive work environment -Process changes are completely inflexible, clearly aim only for monetary gain as opposed to patient and staff experience -Health insurance is horrible, benefits are mostly at the bare minimum, salary does not encourage staff retention -High turnover rate due to all of the above -Hospital culture is very contentious, there is constant friction between units and staff
