Pros

* Most coworkers are driven by the mission to improve education

Cons

* Private equity ownership (and previous management team when the company was public) tanked the company culture and mission.

Stay away - Diminishing culture

Pros

Unlimited PTO Awesome co-workers Great company values (if your team follows them) Better pay than teaching (but low for industry)

Cons

– Culture of fear of layoffs – poor and biased management – Low trust (especially for C-levels) – Low pay increases – Your friends will just "disappear" without a word. – Rumors of really poor severance – Neurodivergent or minorities are treated poorly until they leave or are let go. - Re-orgs every 6 months. This company had the most potential, but the culture is absolutely toxic. Once a great manager left, it all went downhill.
