Pros

Established company with top in class products and high brand name recognition.

Cons

New VC ownership changing expectation and culture towards a profit-only focus. Nothing new, but part of what made Instructure a great workplace was the support, trust and collaboration among teams, but that is degrading.

Pros

The culture encourages learning, innovation, and collaboration — you really feel heard and empowered to share ideas. The mission of improving education through technology is inspiring, and it’s fulfilling to know the work you do directly impacts schools, educators, and learners worldwide.

Cons

Like any growing organization, there can be challenges with shifting priorities and evolving internal processes.

Pros

Everyone I worked with was delightful, lots of great people here.

Cons

Instructure has grown through acquisition and it shows- they have also changed ownership (public -> private equity -> public -> private equity again) several times over the last decade. There is not a strong sense of shared mission and culture here. Lots of teams working in parallel without ever realizing how much collaboration potential there is. Don't get the sense the C suite has a clue what they're doing
