Pros

Best healthcare organization in the Intermountain west. High value organization with unlimited potential.

Cons

Intermountain is a large organization with the inherent problems of large organizations. Often those who ascend to positions of responsibility do so not based on capabilities but connections.

Not great, not terrible

Pros

They promote a health workforce and offer incentives for doing so. Benefits are not the worst you will find. There is a pension and a 401k, but the health insurance could be better considering it is a health insurer. CEO is approachable. Lots of people seem to move through the ranks.

Cons

Meetings. Oh so many meetings. I spend 60 percent of my day in meetings. It is hard to get any real work done. Training is lacking for some roles. You have to sink or swim on your own. Company is losing money due to ACA so cutbacks are likely to continue.
