Great place to work if getting a competitive & fair salary is not important to you.

Pros

Great place to work, market leader with lots of innovation happening. Reasonable resources made available to you.

Cons

They abuse their size and position in the market to offer salaries that feel like an insult. There is also a lot of middle management hell bent on maintain the status quo and not letting young talent advance until they have “paid their dues” because that is what they had to do.

Pros

There are good people that work there and care about the patient, which should be the top priority.

Cons

Did not receive a pay raise every year and the company does not give a cost-of-living raise. I am slowly losing money every year due to increases in healthcare insurance, cost of living increases and lack of wage increase to compensate. In five years I would guess that the pension plan will be gone as well.

Pros

Some of the best reasons to work at Intermouontain Health Care would be that most departments work with your school schedual, another reason would be that IMC have a more than a few facilities around the salt lake valley which gives you options to move around.

Cons

This company is not always about what you know or what you have learned or achieved in school, but more along the lines of who you know and where you work that have higher people that can help you move up in the company.
