Pros

Work from home. Flexible hours. I cannot stress how important those two are.

Cons

Pay is 20% below average. Healthcare is not paid for by employer like other companies in my field. Time off is limited. Leadership continues to remove valuable benefits, like the pension which was 12% of your salary. It is replaced with additional 2% 401k match making a total of 6%. Which means they took away 10% total compensation package. The benefits package as a whole is a bit of a hodgepodge of things. They make it seem like you’re getting a bunch of good things but in reality we won’t use half of it. If you do use it, then you’re doing things that take away from family and personal time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. As a healthcare organization, everything we do is rooted in data, from creating treatment plans for patients to making decisions about our business. Our benefits package is no different. Intermountain Health offers benefits that support caregivers, maintain affordability and sustainability, stay competitive in the market, and create a consistent experience for all caregivers. Our benefits will continue to evolve based on caregiver feedback and market data. Additionally, at Intermountain, we assess pay on an annual basis, to reflect geography, and as the market changes. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.
