Poor Executive Support and Little to No Mobility

Pros

Decent pay for healthcare and good caresite-level camaraderie.

Cons

Generally poor expectations. You will be overworked, and prepare for the "good ol' boys club" feel whenever the executives or upper management come around. Very little to no mobility without an acute willingness to play the game.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. First and foremost, we are sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at Intermountain Health. We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve. We encourage our caregivers and leaders to engage in open and accessible forms of communication. Programmatically, we build deliberate opportunities to be collaborative and share feedback. Additionally, we believe that a culture of well-being for all caregivers is foundational to our ability to deliver on our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Caregivers are at the heart of what we do, which is why we have invested in and implemented several programs and resources to help caregivers enhance their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and financial health. It’s important that every caregiver feels secure, supported, and safe, both at home and at work. We take all feedback seriously and will share your review with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, both positive and constructive. We value all our current and former caregivers’ feedback, as our focus is to continually improve our practices. Intermountain Health provides various resources to share news with our leaders and caregivers, and programmatically, we’ve built deliberate opportunities to collaborate and share feedback. Additionally, we assess pay on an annual basis, to reflect geography, and as the market changes. We appreciate your review and will share it with our teams as we continue to move forward.

Pros

Hours are good Manager is great for my unit love my intermediate coworkers.

Cons

Uppers in Intermountain seem to go out of their way to make things difficult on their employees. Payroll is incompetent and went a month without pay as a result then they turned and blamed me for their mistake. A simple one step to get a w-2 turns into a 20 step process for example. Sent multiple professional emails that were bounced back to me. But emailed a very upset email and yes could have worded better but not being heard felt it didn't matter so I wrote exactly how I felt. Well that one they responded to, but sent a copy to my manager (Whome already knew I sent it) and they have the audacity to play victim! Uh no mam you don't get to play victim when you ignore all the previous "professional" emails asking for help to fix a situation. Not to mention the way they treat their employees trickles down to patients. Seen multiple patient treated poorly as a result. Why care when uppers don't seem to care. Oh buy trinket gifts for employees that helps?! No it doesn't. We want to be heard and taken into account. Pay your employees even better.
