      Insurance, some paid time off

      Cons

      Terrible management who views you simply as a number. They do not follow the ADA nor do they care about anyone as a person. Their coding and billing practices are shady. You will never be paid your worth, nor be seen as an individual. There is absolutely NO work life balance. Make sure you don't get in an accident, because you will be written up for that. Make sure your child never gets sick, because you will also be written up for that. Be prepared to document your bathroom breaks. The micromanagement is abhorrent. SCL has a terrible reputation among healthcare for a reason.

      Pros

      The beginning management was very nice, didnt give a lot of positive feedback, but was not horrible.

      Cons

      Management backs the docs ONLY, even when they are wrong! The ICU has some very unethical MDs, and management sits back and lets it happen. If you are a nurse where patient ethics mean something to you...this is not the place where you want to hang your hat! Docs play favorites and so then does management. Terrible experience there!

      Politics of who gets hired for management is not based on skill/education its based on who your friends are.
