Pros
I had great co-workers before most of them left
Cons
High turnover. Very few coworkers are left from prior to the buy-out/“merger”1 year ago. Corporate talks a good game and always has a perky outlook. They say they are about quality care and giving great benefits, but it’s really all talk. 4 weeks of PTO sounds great until you realize you can’t actually use it because there is no one to cover for you, so you need to work extra hours before and after vacation and not use too many days at once so they can still get all the patients in. Several coworkers have quit and they still expect our patient volume to stay the same with half as many therapists. Management only cares about numbers. They said they didn’t expect us to be double booked all day, but if we aren’t double booked and working extra hours/weekends, management harps about getting more patients in quicker. Pay is not great and I don’t expect I’ll ever see a raise. Pay increases are based on targets and metrics that are impossible to reach.
