Pros

Most people are friendly and WFH flexibility

Cons

The org chart is just a mess. There are just way too many accounting and finance managers. It really devalues the title when everyone is a manager and few staff roles. It also leads to tons of confusion because of the lack of communication. No one knows who has seniority and who to answer first. Every manager is just stepping on each others toes and no one has any true power. Senior management is just clueless and continues to fill these manager roles to keep people happy without realizing the true issue. It creates a very toxic environment as well when a manager is constantly talking about other managers and co workers. There is a lot of favoritism during the hiring and promotion process because of manager relationships. This place is a shame because they have the talent but don’t know how to put them in positions to succeed. There’s no way to truly “level up” as they say and actually have a career. Not for a person who has goals and wants to learn. Many settlers are here luckily for them to cling on to.

Pros

Some people are genuinely nice

Cons

Fake promises with great sales pitches. They mention level up by taking managers work and learning new things meanwhile none of that was practiced. The organizational chart is a disaster with to many managers with same title and staff/seniors are getting siloed. When brought up they brush you off or give a lame excuse and nothing is done. The turnover is crazy about 10 people left support services in the past 2 years. They say people left for better opportunities but if IVY is so great then why would someone want to leave? They can never answer that. There is no consideration for anyone with late night emails and not even a thank you or acknowledgement from the controller.

Pros

Fun activities, working with kids great therapy gym and great co-workers

Cons

Very fast paced. You get 7 minutes between back to back clients to disinfect everything, chart, and set up for the next child. The goal is to have you see 9 hours of clients (53 minute sessions) during a 10 hour shift. You feel excited to get a cancellation, especially if it happens last minute so they don't have time to put someone else in that time slot. It's the only way you actually have any time to do paperwork. Lunch is unpaid, but frequently you are expected to attend meetings during that time. In order to get everything completed you have to work 11 or 12 hours every day because your schedule starts the minute the 10 hours begins. The turnover is ridiculous because it is very difficult to keep up with. It's not fair to have to work for 48 hours a week to get paid for 40. They will squeeze every free minute out of you that they can! This is the reason almost all of the employees are unsuspecting and enthusiastic new grads.
