Pros

Izenda is really at the forefront of the Business Intelligence industry and has, in my time here, evolved greatly to accept the responsibility of being the leader in the market. Leadership works together to solve potential issues instead of constant infighting. There is a clear and direct vision that has been instilled in the employees from the bottom to the top. The culture is fun and easy-going, which helps the sometimes intense work required with a smaller company. There is ample opportunity to pick up new tasks, skills, and work to become a bigger part of the company and posture yourself for advancement. Pay is fair and well representative of the job market. The product is easy to get behind when you start learning about the BI space and what is being offered. There is literally nothing better than working for a company whose product is guaranteed to be successful. Every day offers new challenges which makes coming to work exciting and fresh. Positive reinforcement and constructive criticism from both upper management and employees nurtures a friendly and professional environment to grow as a business person. Bagels every Friday.

Cons

My drive is terrible. I live 40+ miles away from the office. PTOs lump in Sick and Vacation time. Would be terrible to run out of PTOs and have to take unpaid vacation, unpaid sick leave, or come to the office sick because you do not want to go unpaid. Granted, there are more PTOs offered at this job than previous jobs I have had. Flex hours are good in some circumstances and not in others. Half-height, open area cubicles. Health insurance is covered for the employee if they are only getting it for themselves, but very expensive for someone with a family. HSA helps compensate a little for this. No schedule (as far as I know) for reviewing employees to discuss performance, compensation, etc.

Pros

Atmosphere/Employees- There is no work environment and better group of employees than that at Izenda. The employees of Izenda are passionate about the software offered and work extremely hard to not only meet but exceed their goals. At the same time, they have fun doing it with the help of a casual atmosphere. Everyone is friends with each other and often times team lunches and/or other activities are scheduled outside of business hours. Upper management is extremely approachable and they truly value your success and happiness. Employees interact with the VP's and CEO on a daily basis who happy to assist you in any way possible. Upper management creates a low-stress, laid back environment. Growth Potential/Career Opportunities- Although the company is rather small (approx. 40 employees) the company is growing. The sales team has grown from a 4 person team to 7 within 2 months. With that being said, your expectations are clearly outlined, you are given a chance to perform, and you know your exact path to success/a promotion. Learning abilities/communication- There are weekly meetings to maintain and continue knowledge on the embedded reporting solution offered. Meetings are also held to review performance and create strategies in effort to drive sales and success. Training program- Changing roles and coming from a non-technical background can create a learning curve that may be very difficult initially. Employees who have been with the company for a longer period of time tend to use acronyms and high-tech terms that may not be understood by some employees. However, as with any career, this does change as time goes on. Within a few weeks you will feel more comfortable and will probably learn more in your first few days at this company than months-years at others. You are not "thrown to the wolves" at Izenda. Goals are reasonably created, and you are given time to perform. Others- Employees have the potential to work flex hours and wear casual clothing. The CEO also purchases Einstein bagels for the employees every Friday. Health insurance is paid for by the company. The company is located near Perimeter mall and Marta.

Cons

Izenda is a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is certainly NOT a con, but to be transparent, you must be ready for change, and change often. You must be ready to think on your feet, accept constructive criticism, and have fun in a laid back atmosphere while understanding the expectations laid out for you.

Pros

I love working for Izenda, I've been promoted during my stay and I've been able to grow consistently in the company. I've been able to turn my life around and eliminate debt thanks to Izenda. The sky is the limit in the sales department and the product just keeps getting better under Sanjay (the CEO). It's in use by some of the biggest organizations in the world and household names like Verizon and Microsoft rave about it. Louie Bernstein (the CSO) is very patient, and he trains employees persistently on best sales practices. The company has seen record growth every single year it's been in existence. The hours are flexible, the work isn't demanding, and you can be a part of the company by helping it grow. You can offer ideas and have them listened to. You can go home feeling moral and secure if you just do what is asked of you. It is an incredible professional experience.

Cons

You have to be willing to work your buns off. There isn't a whole lot of hand holding, if you can't keep up you may feel frustrated but help is available when you ask for it. Everyone wants you to succeed here, but you've got to have the right attitude and work ethic. The people who complain the most, leave the fastest and are generally terrible employees from the get go. Be willing to help yourself and be professional, you'll go far at Izenda.
