Great coworkers, but leadership is a struggle

Pros

The day to day people are amazing to work with and really understand their customers and what they need.

Cons

The current leadership say they care about employees but keep pushing out people who truly understand the products and the customers. People who are already here are passed up for jobs they are qualified for for people that are being brought in from the outside and don’t know the business. They are making changes without fully understanding the products and they put a high level structure in that could work but it was implemented poorly and inconsistently.

Has potential but lacks thoughtful leadership

Pros

Lots of talented all around good people at the junior and mid-levels of company.

Cons

No mission. No vision. No values. Close minded leadership that do not care about people and culture. Lacks diversity in leadership which is mostly older white men. CEO is very hands off with employee engagement and offers no cultural leadership. He’s only there to grow the company and get out. No upwards feedback to leadership possible.

Pros

The culture is good and the location is great. Employees are motivated and easy to work with. The benefits are acceptable. Overall it is a great company to work for.

Cons

The biggest con is the salary. We are under paid at most levels, and promotions and salary increases are few. Your experience as an employee is determined, in great part, by who your immediate supervisor is. Time off, working offsite, and ability to participate in non-project activities can vary widely depending on your boss.
