Pros

Nice new office that you can be proud of when you walk into work each morning. Lots of natural lighting that helps keep you focused. Decent pay scale, though slowly decreasing

Cons

The opportunity for growth is nearly invisible. Employees worked there for 5+ years and have yet to receive some type of promotion. Pay scale is on a downward slope as work load is going upward.

Pros

It's a nice name to put on your resume. Other than that there is nothing positive about J.D. Power.

Cons

There is absolutely no training for your position. Managers are too over overworked to assist provide simple, basic training. Worst of all, the employers don't have faith in their work. They said that they would never trust their car rating surveys. That says a lot about the quality of work they produce.

Pros

McGraw-Hill, the parent company provides pretty good benefits. McGraw-Hill has also reigned in some of the stupider ideas put forth by JDPA management, so they are a positive influence. The company is well known, and well respected, outside the world of market research.

Cons

Constant "change" and upheaval. "Re-structurings" occur frequently - at least avery two years. The internal support depts. actually rule the roost, and the research and client-facing people are definitely second-class citizens, and the first to be thrown overboard. Sr. management lacks direction and is unable to articulate a coherent strategy to employees.
