HORRIBLE STORE MANAGER!!!! She played favorites! I brought in sales like crazy! And yet she still didn't like me! She would make up her own rules and tell one person and not everyone else.. Poor management skills! Always going out shopping on her working days, we were located at the outlets! Always talked shot out customers in SPANISH! Doesn't even know how to do engraving what manager is that!

Joined James Avery after hearing a lot of good things. About 1.5 years of service rec'd a big bonus. That was a surprise. I did not know why it was sent to me and no one got it. Upon my termination, got three months of salary with benefits. James Avery management and HR knew very well that I was a whistle blower. I had criticized the management for being inefficient and for not using latest technology that I had done research on. Top management was rude and does not want to welcome new ideas or complaints. I did not receive a formal termination letter.

-My supervisor was really helpful and down-to-earth -I felt part of the team -Good food during the holiday season

Cons

-I was a temp, so the hours weren't great and the pay was very low -During orientation, the main supervisor was absent and I ended up having to fill a lot of paperwork without anyone explaining them to me. But that was probably just something that happened on that particular day because the other employees weren't trained for this job.
