Very Odd Corporate Environment

Pros

Some great people, high quality product

Cons

Least diverse management in any company I've seen. Mind-numbing corporate environment. Desperately struggling to create a brand that people get excited about.

Pros

They pay well. That’s it.

Cons

Jockey screams being a family - and that’s true considering that most families are toxic. At the beginning of the pandemic, they had their employees back in the office by July 2020. Required to be there, required to wear a mask. “Better together” and they think they can make better decisions for you and your family. Since jockey is your family - you are required to work your heart out. At least 60 hours. No one takes lunch breaks. They give more leave to someone adopting a child than to someone who has had a baby and needs to recover. There is no movement up. There are no career paths. Management thinks pushing off implementing new systems is better for employees. It’s not. More hours and salary and spent on things a simple system could do.

TIRED OF BEING USED

Pros

Core staff at my location was wonderful as long as we had staff. Growth potential good. Lots of companies in the US so you have a chance to relocate. They really do stand behind their 100% guarantee. All employees empowered to please a guest.

Cons

No assistance in the hiring process. So at times we were severely understaffed. Great for overtime pay but who wants to work that for months on end. No vacation or personal time allowed when short staffed ( lost a lot of PTO due to this) ususally only got one day off a week. When this goes on for a month or longer and the store staff has exhausted their resources in recruiting it's time for upper management and company HR to step in a help out. Problem is they don't want to pay for anything (ads or online notices) and think we should be able to find someone when we canvas on our one day off a week.
