Pros

This review is for the corporate office in Portland, Oregon. Well, my paycheck never bounced. And there was that $.60/year raise every year. And they did have 5% 401k match. and the annual bonus was always nice. But overall, not worth it.

Cons

I worked in the marketing department for 8 years and in all that time no one from another department would speak to us. Literally. I have no idea why. To get information from other departments took stealth meetings, badgering, and countless emails. Normal chit chat with other employees was seen as laziness. The company is ruled by one guy who isn't the ceo, and he could teach a masterclass in fear, passive-aggression, and how to 'neg employees in front of the entire company . I watched employees come and go, and anyone with any sense got out of there as soon as they could.

Pros

Work hours. The bosses work 930am-430pm and take 1+ lunches. So therefore , there is no pressure to work long hours.

Cons

To move up, you need to be white male and be able to hang with them. I have watched women leaders and African American leaders turn departments around, coach , mentor and grow their teams, only to be handled severance packages and replaced with white males who was a friend of a VP. Such a shame!

Pros

Most coworkers are friendly and helpful and willing to share insight to make things better

Cons

Owners are horrendous towards treatment of their employees bordering on abusive(verbally and emotionally) Micromanagement and blatant unwillingness to change or evolve business strategies is a key trait for upper management. Most senior management has been with the company so long they don't know any different on how other companies have adapted and change over time to stay relevant so they continue with the same ole same ole happily. The push for Frontline to do "more" is only made harder by the companies unwillingness to better themselves. Pay is on low end compared to other companies in similar roles. When asking about pay or commission structures your quickly met with "of you can find better then leave". Upper management decisions are made as a very reactive, off the cuff view point often causing bigger ripples in the company that are put on Frontline to deal with with no direction or explanation on correct procedure. When dealing with the pandemic the owner's reaction to safety is "all you have to do is wash your hands" "it's just the flu" Vacation is highly frowned upon taking to the point employees fear requesting it for any length of time longer than 2 days.
