Pros

Great Brands Nice office Has some great people (non management)

Cons

I was SO excited when I got this job, but now I am overworked and burned out. This place is severely understaffed and management does not care. They will literally suck you dry with NO mercy. No cares and no one will help you. They also do not seem to have idea how to treat employees. I don't know what HR does all day makes no sense. I have been here almost a year and nothing is improving. I am really hoping someone from HR sees this and does something about it. I am speaking on behalf of many people. Do not be surprised if people start dropping like flies! Management (VP's) are snappy and rude. You have to spoon feed them information in order to get NO where. No one takes accountability for anything and instead people throw each other under the bus for no good reason.

Pros

Snacks, location, and free makeup

Cons

Beware - this is a mean girls toxic and hostile work environment! Majority of the female VPs and above constantly tear down others who do not fit their mold. Specifically, the female leaders on the Brand Management side. When being presented with black and white facts, these women just shoo the reality away and say their goals are achievable ; everyone else is just a loser and does not know what they are doing. The fact of the matter is that goals are set beyond feasibility, which then makes everyone's lives far worse , trying to make the impossible possible. Instead of adding headcount to teams which are severely short-staffed, employees are told that we cannot hire and must take on more responsibility. People are not a priority here. We are told that what we are doing is wrong, despite the fact that no time or support has been given to us. They push you to work late evenings as well as weekends! There is literally ZERO work life balance here. The moment any employee complains about that, s/he is looked at with disdain. It should be an exception to expect people to work abnormal hours - - not the standard! If they diasgree with what you say, then you lose credibility. If the VPs like you, you will be successful up to a point. But once one of them decides that they do not like you, watch out. They will come after you and your livelihood, until you quit. Super disappointing as I worked here for 3 years. At the end of the day, being bullied into working 80+ hours and not receiving any thank you or appreciation made me leave.

Toxic Work Environment!

Pros

Fun brands, free makeup, and passionate/talented people.

Cons

Manipulative and immature managment leads to information about employees and performance being passed around behind people back. Managment likes to claim that their managment style is "hands off" and will tell new people coming in that the environment is laid back. I assure you, it is anything but. Facts get twisted, no leadership, no clear path to succeed, and a type of culture that creates fear and an "everyone for themselves" environment. I have been thrown under the bus for mistakes that were a group effort and/or under managment direction that had severe consequences. People are told to come on Glassdoor and give them a good rating to improve their status, witch is a huge red flag. It is with a heavy heart that I write a review like this, but I feel I must warn people about this company. I have seen people come and go in this company without notice and everyone is left wondering what really happened. Employees will pour their heart into projects and get chewed up by managment & their VP's for mistakes that were made due to miss-information, poor leadership directions, and lack of communication. I would have done anything for this company and was fine with putting in all the extra work, but got disrespected, looked down upon, and all around ended up dragged through the dirt. Very unprofessional, irresponsible, and a waste of good talented/passionate people.
