Pros

Great place to learn, if you work hard and have some talent you will be given the opportunity to get involved in significant business driving projects.

Cons

A small group of people hold all the cards, you will get treated poorly. If you're not Irish and did not go through the graduate program you will not be considered a true valued Kerry employee. Long hours and broken promises are absolutely guaranteed. A closed management culture, the few execs that are not Irish are well aware but have no power to change the status quo.

Pros

Pay is good. Flexibility is nice.

Cons

There's absolutely no accountability. Documented processes are few and far between. You're on your own as far as training goes; figure it out as you go. Benefits are mediocre at best. Management cares about the almighty dollar far more than you as an employee. They may say they care outwardly, but actions speak louder than words. Everything is kept secret by management/leadership, even trivial things. Layoffs are done in small waves so as not to cause a scene. One day you have 20 coworkers, the next you have 15...and no one says a word about it. It's like they didn't exist.

Pros

Some really talented and great people to work with, life long friends. You learn a lot in a short time period You can build your resume up really nicely to move to somewhere that pays you better money and gives you more respect They also throw a nice Christmas party and the occasional patio party in the summer

Cons

If you aren't a part of the HR "in crowd", you aren't going to get anywhere. They have hired HR people and relocated them from other states, only to fire them a few months later They've promised people in HR higher positions or promotions, then don't follow through You are required to be on call 24/7 and answer emails and calls during evenings, weekends, and while you are on vacation Face time is important. If you show up at 8 and leave at 5, you aren't working hard enough The turnover in HR has been ridiculous, there's a reason you are always seeing openings...
