Pros

No pros unless you have an Irish passport.

Cons

People are jumping ship because quality has now taken a backseat to profitability. Everyone also realizes that you can't succeed unless you are Irish and an accountant. This used to be an ok company before the Irish invasion, Most roles of any worth are filled by Irish nationals that are arrogant and less qualified than many of the people they are supervising.

While we do take great pride in our Irish heritage, we are equally passionate about elevating employees of all nationalities around the globe. It's true, at Kerry you will experience diversity, you will hear accents and languages that aren't native to your location - that's because we promote global mobility within our company. We are continuously adopting ways to improve for customers and employees alike, and are dedicated to putting the right people in the right roles to make it happen, regardless of nationality.

Pros

None. You are usually paid on time. There are always plenty of openings because people can't stand it here.

Cons

The CTO is a lunatic. We all laugh at him behind his back and call him The Dictator. Turnover here is nearly 90% within one year of start date. It is in the middle of nowhere, you will relocate here based on empty promises which are really lies, and then you will either be fired or harassed until you quit. Since its in the middle of nowhere, you will be left with no other options. It is also a racist company hiring only Irish into management positions. So you will likely be managed by an Irish twenty-something with zero experience and no people management skills. Ignore this negative review and all of the others on here at your own demise. Accepting a job here will end your career. Worst reputation in the industry. The building in Beloit is always nearly empty. Its really just a showplace to try and bring in business. Not a real research site. They will bring to you about some stupid X-mas party though. There is a reason it is located in right-to-work Wisconsin. Easier to fire you.

Pros

In the current climate the only one pro, "the good people" is rapidly reducing as people decide to leave.

Cons

Leadership has become shortsighted in recent years, looking for the quick buck to make the numbers for the ever important shareholder, so the execs can pickup the big bonus. Numerous re-organizations in recent months, typically a clear giveaway that there's a lack of strategic thinking at an organization and leadership chose to reorganize in order to "look like your doing something" Yearly bonus amounts are seldom more than half of potential with BOP knockout used as the reason why. All the while year after year record breaking group profitability and growth figures reported annually publicly each year. The graduate scheme was once a power house crafting a shaping the future leaders now it's a turn and burn revolving door of hopefuls crying out for help to develop and improve. Any other indicator that the company has reduced focus on development. And the answer to development is not a new system to house all the development plans and ratings the answer is a simple question all leader should be asking, "what help do you need today". The glassdoor trended rating says it all down to 3 from near 4 star rating and the and now bottom in sight.

Thank you for your 8+ years with Kerry and helping us grow to who we are today. As you know we're a company that changes with the market and grows through strategic acquisition. It's a model that helps us answer the call of ever-changing consumers while offering employees unique opportunities and growth. It's also a model that forces changes that can probably be perceived as some of the things you mention. We have indeed recently gone through some restructuring to help us become more valuable to both our customer and employees by easing ways of working and simplifying what we do and how we do it. For yourself and others in a similar position, It is our hope that your experience with Kerry equips you to successfully tackle the next step in your career.
