Kerry is toxic...unless you have the right team

Pros

1. Summer hours are pretty awesome. Sonic Boom is a great and unrated/underused rewards program. 2. If you end up on a team of good people, those people will likely be the best thing about Kerry. However, the odds are not in your favor. They truly do exist, and it's a wonderful breath of fresh air when you finally meet someone great.

Cons

1. Most people look the other way when faced with toxic behavior and will perpetuate it to fit in or survive the same culture themselves. 2. Work/life balance is a huge issue. People at Kerry wear working well over 40 hrs a week nearly ever week of the year as a badge of honor. You will likely be pressured to work over whatever hourage you agreed to. You could even be asked to be available via phone while on PTO. 3. "Diversity is important to Kerry" is a false statement. If you are interviewing with Kerry and care about diversity, ask about female leader representation, ask about PRIDE, ask about the Black Lives Matter movement stance in 2020 and where it currently stands. Then, ask to see a shred of action and/or proof. 4. Upward movement is really, really challenging to get. You can overperform for all your yearly goals years in a row and still not see compensation: in title or meaningful financial raise.

Pros

GREAT facility! Onsite workout room with showers, "wellness rooms", awesome cafeteria.

Cons

Lots of backstabbers in management who will throw you under the bus in order to please their superiors. Interview process takes a long time as they want each candidate to interview with multiple managers (sometimes up to 12!).Very little room for advancement. If you choose to work here, expect to be over worked and under paid. HR will tell you there's lots of room for growth and advancement.- NOT the case. What they don't tell you is how bad the turn over rate is at this place!
