Pros

Lean structure allows for easy access to the executives. Opportunities for international travel. Depending what group you work in, flexible work schedule allows for working from home when needed.

Cons

Too lean! Work people to the ground and then wonder why they leave. The reward for extreme hard work and dedication is minimal. You can come in early, leave late, work through lunch, and work weekends and your reward will be a 2% raise at year end. They say they offer better than average benefits, but I'd love to know what companies they are comparing that to.

Pros

Company is expanding rapidly having double digit grow numbers year after year. If you're in one of the central functions (basically in Ireland and not in a factory) there is several good opportunities. The global transformation programme allows to relocate or to stay and gain a lot of experience. The salaries were below average but improved considerably in recent year. Good training opportunities.

Cons

Old boys club - you need to play by the rules, smile and suck up to your boss. No one expects honesty, just do your job and avoid any conflict. One wrong move can set you outside the mainstream, with no future. So yes, this is a corporation even if it wasn't like that few years ago. A lot of senior new joiners helped this to happen.

They provide a lot of training. If you are a manager, they will make sure that you know the "Kerry Way" They also provide competitive compensation.

Cons

If you are not willing to work long hours everyday, get called at night, weekends and during your vacation, then this is not the job for you. Be prepared to sit in a lot of meetings. They also believe in being lean, really lean.
