Fantastic Culture

Pros

- You'll work with motivated peers in a highly collaborative setting - You'll work closely with engineers of several disciplines to collaborate on cross-cutting solutions - I found full transparency in the interview. After I started, everything was as promised. The culture was as described. - Micro-managing does not exist here. To this day I've not had the level of autonomy I received here.

Cons

- There is travel involved. I enjoyed it, but I could imagine it as a con for some. - With such high autonomy requires discipline. Some people need constant validation and/or hand-holding. I would not expect those people to succeed here.

Pros

- Great culture. - You will get a sense that the people at Kubica care about each other. The company also promotes the concept of creating opportunities for each other, which I really like. - Competitive pay and some financial incentives. - Great health care plan. - You're able to gain a lot of experience with various technologies and roles. - If you asked ten people in your field at different companies whether or not they like, respect, and care about every single person on their work team, how many do think you would say yes? I can genuinely say that I feel this way about my team at Kubica.

Cons

- (This is not really a con, but) if you are looking for a position where you can "coast" or do the bare minimum, you will likely not fit in, or at least will not enjoy working at Kubica. - There isn't much provided in terms of formal training. This can be daunting in certain situations (but not necessarily a bad thing in others). You must be able to learn quickly.
